Baema T Boa began almost ten years ago,
bringing together the worlds of Marion Dyqyisni, visual artist and illustrator,
and Bastien Cesar, textile and graphic designer.
Following experiences in Paris, Brussels and London,
with Bastien working in fashion and ready-to-wear
and Marion in artists’ studios and print workshops,
they established their own studio, working across clothing,
illustration and visual design.
Together, they imagined functional, poetic workwear with bold motifs,
shaped by their distinct sensibilities: raw materials and natural tones for Bastien; delicate drawings and soft, sometimes sharp colours for Marion.
This dialogue became the identity of Baema T Boa.
In their Brittany workshop, they design and make each piece themselves,
with lasting use in mind.
They favour natural materials, limited made-to-order production,
and repurposed materials for one-of-a-kind pieces.
